This pastiché of Jessie J's Do It Like A Dude was inspired by the line "grab my crotch, swing my hat low, like you"...
...which put me in mind of the legendary PI Lazlo Woodbine of the P.P. Penrose novels, doffing his fedora at a rakish angle whilst adjusting his trenchcoat and polishing his trusty Smith & Waistcoat...
...then I found the song fitted natually flowed to incorporate Laz and namedrop numerous other ffictional detectives
