OK, so who hasn't done this at school? I did. Twice.

Actor. Always cast as  Reuben (the eldest of the children of Israel, with Simeon and Levi the next in line....)

Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward - a play

5 night run in 1987 with the Bolton North Sixth Form College Theatre Group

 

Role within production

Actor. Took on the lead rôle of Charles Condomine in a 5 night school production

Confusions by Alan Aykbourn - a play

5 week tour in 1987 with the Bolton Little Theatre Company

 

Role within production

Actor. Played the rôle of “Waiter” in Act 2: Drinking Companion and added a new twist to the rôle

The Betrayal Of Isengard by Simon Owen - a mini-play

One-off performance at the North West AMDRAM Festival in 1987

 

Role within production

Writer, Actor, Director. I dramatised the scene from The Fellowship Of The Ring where Gandalf goes to Saruman for aid. I not only directed and choreographed the piece, but also performed the rôle of Gandalf. The performace was awarded second place in the festival, and would have come first, had Stu Francis's son not beaten us (his famous father on the judging panel didn't help. Not that I'm still bitter about it!)

Nov 1992. CANCELLED. Due to my father's sudden death just before launch, this never went ahead

Presenter. Given a late night/early hours slot as a DJ, catering to 80s Goth & comedy. I'd been trained, and all shows had been rehearsed and planned. but... death deals blows :(

Jack The Ripper - a musical (alternative pantomime)

CANCELLED. Due to an NU reshuffle, many cast members were redeployed to Sheffield.
